Dear SIFE students,

We have been invited to speak about the Third Sector Edge project at the National EBP Network's Annual Conference.

I would like to invite one SIFE student to speak alongside me about the project and then join me on a panel.

I would also like to invite some SIFE students to attend some of the conference in return for helping man our stand, and telling delegates about your involvement in this programme.

- The presentation will be on the Monday 1st December.

- The stand will run all day on the Monday and the Tuesday

If you are available please register asap at the above link.

The session we will be a part of is as follows:

The purpose of this session is to explore the needs of the future world of work – and their implications for employer engagement.

We will briefly present some recent research findings before introducing you to three project teams who are developing fresh approaches to work-related learning that will help to meet the needs of the future world of work.  We will then break into small discussion groups to explore the challenges and solutions to engaging employers in areas particularly relevant to our future economy & society: the third sector, the creative economy and rural areas.
